This Privacy Policy explains how Discreetly Labs Private Limited, its affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, service providers, and operational partners (“Discreet”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collect, process, use, disclose, retain, transfer, secure, and otherwise manage information relating to individuals who access, browse, register for, subscribe to, communicate through, or otherwise interact with our websites, mobile applications, communication tools, customer support channels, subscription services, and related technologies (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Definitions

Account means a registered relationship between a User and the Services that enables access to certain features, content, communications, subscriptions, or functionalities made available through the Platform.

4. Eligibility & Age Restrictions
The Services are intended exclusively for adults who have reached the minimum age required under applicable law. By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or such higher age as may be required in your jurisdiction, and that you possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
Discreet does not knowingly permit minors to create accounts, access the Services, or provide personal information. If we believe that a user may be under the required age, has provided inaccurate eligibility information, or has otherwise violated these requirements, we may restrict, suspend, terminate, or remove the associated account and related information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

To provide, operate, secure, improve, and personalize the Services, Discreet may collect information that you voluntarily provide, information generated through your use of the Platform, and certain technical information collected automatically. We collect only the information reasonably necessary to deliver our Services, maintain platform security, support trust and safety measures, process subscriptions, comply with applicable laws, and enhance your overall experience.

We may collect information you voluntarily provide when creating or managing your account, completing profile details, verifying your identity, purchasing a subscription, contacting customer support, or otherwise interacting with the Services. This may include your email address, mobile number, profile information, preferences, photographs, voice recordings, verification materials, payment-related information processed through authorized payment providers (including Google Play Billing), and communications submitted through the Platform or our support channels.
5.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Services, we may automatically collect certain technical and operational information, including your device information, operating system, browser type, IP address, approximate location and device coordinates used for discovery (where you grant permission), installation or device identifiers, session data, application performance, crash reports, log files, cookies or similar technologies on our website, and usage analytics necessary for platform administration, fraud prevention, security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for research, analytics, product development, and service optimization. We do not use your personal information for purposes inconsistent with this Privacy Policy or applicable law.
7. Trust, Safety, Privacy & Information Security
At Discreet, protecting your privacy, confidentiality, and personal information is one of our highest priorities. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect the information you provide against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss. While no online platform or method of electronic transmission can guarantee absolute security, we continuously work to strengthen our security measures.
Discreet is intentionally designed to minimize unnecessary disclosure of personal identity. Users may choose a username instead of their real name, display only an approximate age range rather than their exact age, and control the visibility of their profile through features such as photo blur, hidden photos, private albums, username aliases, and in-app phone number requests. Private content is accessible only with the explicit consent of the content owner.
To promote trust and authenticity, Discreet may offer mobile verification, selfie verification, and other trust-related features. A verification badge indicates only that the applicable verification process was successfully completed at the time of review and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a user’s identity, character, intentions, or future conduct.
We may review accounts, content, and platform activity where reasonably necessary to detect fraud, impersonation, abuse, security threats, policy violations, unlawful activities, or other conduct that may compromise the safety of users or the integrity of the Services. Where required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the Information Technology Act, 2000, or pursuant to lawful requests from competent authorities, Discreet may preserve, disclose, or cooperate with such authorities to protect users, enforce our Terms, and ensure the secure and lawful operation of the Platform.
8. Verification & Authentication
To promote trust, authenticity, and platform safety, Discreet may offer verification features, including Mobile Number Verification for eligible Premium members and Selfie Verification for eligible Premium+ members. Successful verification may result in the display of the applicable verification badge and may enable access to certain platform features available under the relevant subscription.
Verification is intended solely as a platform trust measure and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a user’s identity, character, intentions, conduct, authenticity, or future behaviour. Discreet reserves the right to review, suspend, revoke, or remove any verification badge where verification information becomes inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent with the user’s profile, where fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected, or where such action is reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain platform integrity, enforce our policies, or comply with applicable law. Verification media is retained only for the period reasonably necessary to complete review, after which it is deleted.
9. Managing Your Personal Information
You may access, review, update, or manage most of your personal information, profile details, privacy preferences, communication settings, verification status, subscription details, and account settings directly through the Discreet application. The Platform provides in-app support features that allow you to report users, block users, submit complaints, seek assistance, or raise privacy and safety concerns through the Help & Support section.

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to legitimate requests in accordance with applicable law and our internal procedures.
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, protect users, enforce our Terms, or maintain the security, integrity, and lawful operation of the Services. Information, messages, photographs, voice notes, or other content voluntarily shared with another user may remain accessible to that user and cannot always be retrieved or deleted by Discreet once delivered.
10. Information Sharing & Disclosure
Discreet respects your privacy and does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We may share limited information only where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services, including with trusted service providers such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors (including Google Play), email and mobile verification providers, customer support platforms, analytics and security providers, fraud prevention services, and app distribution platforms.
We may also disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from competent authorities, protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of our users or the Platform, investigate suspected fraud or policy violations, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, investment, or other corporate transaction. Any information shared is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and is subject to appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards consistent with applicable law and industry practices.
11. Cookies & Analytics
The Discreet mobile application does not use third-party advertising cookies. Our marketing website at joindiscreet.com may use essential operational and security-related technologies necessary to deliver pages securely. We may collect server logs and diagnostic information to maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the Services. Where we introduce additional analytics on the website or app, we will update this Policy accordingly.
12. Account Closure & Data Retention
Discreet retains your personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and support trust, safety, fraud prevention, and platform security.
Deactivation. If you temporarily deactivate your account, your profile will immediately become unavailable to other users in discovery and related features, and your access to the Services will be restricted until you sign in again.
Deletion. If you request permanent account deletion, your profile will be immediately and permanently deleted from the Platform and removed from other users’ view. The wipeout may take a few hours but your profile is deleted in near real-time. There is no grace period, recovery period, or option to restore your account after deletion. Once it is deleted, it cannot be reversed or recovered.
Following permanent account closure, Discreet may retain certain limited information, including security logs, IP addresses, device information, verification records, subscription and transaction records, fraud prevention data, and other information reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, protect the Platform, or maintain trust and safety, for a period of up to three (3) months following account deletion, or for such longer period as may be required by applicable law. Information that you voluntarily shared with other users before deleting your account may remain available to those vendors, subject to their actions and applicable law. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, Discreet will securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of retained information in accordance with its data retention practices and applicable legal requirements.
13. Grievance Redressal
Discreet is committed to providing a fair, timely, and effective grievance redressal mechanism. Users may report other users, block users, submit complaints, or seek assistance through the Help & Support or Contact Us features available within the Discreet application, or by contacting us at support@joindiscreet.com. We will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge and address legitimate requests within the timelines prescribed under applicable law. Discreet reserves the right to verify complaints, request additional information where reasonably necessary, investigate reported matters, and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law, our Terms, our policies, and the safety, security, and integrity of the Platform.
